4486-D

Gauge Type: Pit Depth Gauge
Dial Type: 0-100, Counter-Clockwise
Graduation: 0.001?
Dial Travel: 1/2?
Anvil: 2-1/8? long, hardened steel with “V” cross section, Dial Face parallel to thread axis.

Description: The 4486-D is used to measure pits and scratches that appear on the surface of pipe and is normally equipped with a 40 Degree Cone Point. Calibration of UST notches can also be achieved by substituting the normal cone point with the SP 12015 or the DP 12012.

SP 12015/Swivel Point: Specially designed contact for calibration of ultrasonic test grooves. Full 360° rotation allows for easy depth check on longitudinal and tangential notches. Used with #4486-D.
